1. Glass bottom boat & snorkel tour at Klein Bonaire
As a result of diligent stewardship of its marine resources - which have been legally protected since 1979 - Bonaire has been consistently ranked as the finest scuba diving and snorkeling destination in the Caribbean. You can experience the magical beauty of Bonaire's protected undersea paradise without even getting wet! Simply embark on this leisurely, two and a half hour glass-bottom boat snorkel cruise that takes you to one of the best preserved and protected reefs in the world!
Begin at the pier where you'll be greeted by friendly staff that will assist you as you step aboard a 32-foot, glass-bottom boat. Take a seat anywhere along the 9.8' x 2.62' glass viewing panel that runs through the center of the boat - all seats are comfortable and offer great viewing! There's even a hard-top canopy that offers cooling shade from the sun. You'll receive a short introduction to your fascinating eco-tour as well as a safety briefing (which includes a life vest, of course). Then sit back and take in the refreshing ocean breeze as you set out across the glistening Caribbean en route to the Bonaire National Marine Park.
As you journey, your naturalist guide will regale you with information about the Marine Park (considered one of the world's most successful marine protected areas) and the amazing array of marine creatures that you encounter along the way. Your destination: the crystalline waters off Klein Bonaire - an unspoiled, uninhabited island less than a mile from Bonaire. Prepare yourself for unparalleled beauty and wonder as your glass-bottom boat drifts along several dive sites with names like "Nearest Point," "Ebo's Reef" and "Buddy's Reef." These sites (which are all part of the marine preserve) offer up some of the most spectacular views of the delicate fringing coral reefs that include stands of elkhorn and staghorn coral, often with fire coral, patch reefs, and dense stands of soft corals. Mysterious and lovely, these life-giving reefs are inhabited by a dazzling spectrum of reef fish.
Have your cameras at the ready as you marvel at the magnificent abundance of colorful tropical fish (including tangs, parrotfish, damsel fish, butterfly fish and angel fish) that move gracefully among the currents in a silent underwater ballet. Indulge in a refreshing water, soda or beer as you check your reef fish ID card (available for purchase on the boat) to see how many fish you can identify! Look for elusive moray eels that hide out in crevices. Keep a keen eye out for special sightings of sea turtles, sea horses, sharks and rays. And if you're lucky, you may even glimpse delightfully playful dolphins that frolic amongst the azure waves.
Your captain will select a swimming and snorkel site at Klein Bonaire. After receiving snorkeling equipment, a snorkel vest and a briefing, you'll enter the water to explore the coral reef alive with a spectrum of tropical fish. If you prefer, you're free to swim or stay on board and bask in the warm Caribbean sun or explore the reef through the glass viewing panel.
As you cruise back along the beautiful coastline of Bonaire en route to your pier, contemplate the undersea wonders you encountered. You will surely come away with a sense of awe and appreciation of the delicate eco-system that is life on the coral reef.

2. Glass bottom kayak & snorkel adventure
Cruise ship tour: coastal kayak & snorkel adventure $30,-
While you’re in port in
The tour starts at Cha cha cha beach. There we will brief you on the soft eco adventure that is waiting for you. For those who never have kayaked before there will be a short explanation and instruction.
Our stable sit-on-top glass bottom kayaks will be waiting for you . They are provided with comfortable backrest seats, life vests, drinking water and of course paddles. Off you go, into the calm waters. You’ll enjoy Bonaire ’s
Donkey beach is an exquisite place to go snorkelling, excellent for ALL skill levels! You will pull your kayak on the sandy beach, get in the crystal clear water and enjoy the spectacular corals and the colourful tropical reef fishes. As you’re snorkelling, watch out for fish like Blue Tangs, Damselfish and wrasses. Other sea life abounds, as well; if you’re lucky, you may spot a Hawksbill or Green turtle. Snorkel equipment is provided. If you have an underwater camera, this would be a great time to use it.
Relax on the beach and prepare for the way back.
Note: Children under 14 years must share a kayak with an adult. Weight limit can not exceed
